Investment Loop. Revenue from expanding enterprise adoption helps us to fund the compute,
research, and talent needed to improve Claude. Claude’s advancing capabilities expand the range of
tasks and workflows customers use Claude for, broadening our addressable market and driving deeper
deployment, additional revenue, and continued reinvestment in Claude.

Claude is Accelerating Our Ability to Close the Loop

Claude itself has become one of the most powerful drivers of our progress—each new version of a Claude model
directly accelerates development of the next. Many aspects of the research, training, and testing of subsequent
model generations now involve Claude, including running experiments, generating and processing training
data, automating evaluations and safety audits, and writing and reviewing code. We refer to this recursive
dynamic as “closing the loop.” A direct expression of this dynamic is our accelerating pace of producing
compute multipliers. More capable models help our researchers discover these improvements faster; in turn,
more powerful compute multipliers enable us to train even more capable models and deploy them more
efficiently.

A clear example of our ability to close the loop is the deployment of Claude Code, our agentic coding product,
across our engineering organization. As our models have advanced, we have seen significant improvement in
Claude’s capability on more challenging, open-ended engineering problems that lack a clear specification and
have historically depended on experienced human judgment. Claude’s success rate on these problems reached
approximately 90% in September 2026, up approximately 50 percentage points in nine months, based on our
internal benchmarks. Claude Code has progressed from suggesting code to writing and running it directly and
working autonomously over long time horizons on complex, multi-step engineering tasks. This has enabled our
engineers to increasingly direct and review its work rather than write code line by line. As a result, the average
daily volume of code contributed to our codebase per engineer in the three months ended September 30, 2026
was over 45 times the average daily volume in the year ended December 31, 2024. Over 90% of the
contributions to our codebase in September 2026 were written by Claude.

The impact of Claude extends beyond research and engineering. From December 31, 2024 to September 30,
2026, our headcount grew over five times, while our revenue for the three months ended September 30, 2026
was 86 times our revenue for the three months ended December 31, 2024.

We believe this operating leverage has been driven by the use of Claude throughout our organization. Across
our research, engineering, go-to-market, and operations teams, Claude allows employees to leverage a team of

How this was made

Kept in context.

A snapshot of the filing dated , rather than a live record of later events.

3primary reviewers
421pages reviewed
43image instances checked

The review

Three primary reviewers read non-overlapping ranges of the complete main filing. All 43 embedded image instances were transcribed and visually reviewed, including the founders’ letter, charts, and customer case studies. Financial tables were also checked visually for dates, units, and column alignment.

A separate reviewer checked the draft’s calculations, accounting interpretations, and customer qualifications. An additional check covered the later merged findings. The result is 62 findings and 21 customer examples.

The boundary

Companion contracts and other exhibits named in the filing’s index are separate documents and were not independently reviewed. Customer outcomes, technical benchmarks, forecasts, and scientific priority claims remain attributed company or customer disclosures.

The numbers

Dollar figures are U.S. dollars. H1 means the six months ended June 30; Q2 means the three months ended June 30. The 2026 interim financial statements are unaudited. Our calculations show their inputs and are labeled separately from reported values.

Blank fields stay undisclosed. Figures with different periods, conditions, or potentially overlapping scopes are kept separate. An earlier tender price is not an IPO price.

What the evidence labels mean
Reported in filing
A company disclosure, with the period and accounting basis retained.
Company estimate / company claim
An estimate or assertion attributed to the company, with its uncertainty preserved.
Our calculation
A derived figure using cited inputs. It is not a separately reported company metric.
Customer example
A selected case study, with its measurement limits. It is not representative ROI.
Proposed / conditional
A status qualifier for an arrangement that is not yet effective or depends on stated conditions.
